The Galapagos Islands are home to many animals that are synonymous with the islands. The most famous are certainly the giant tortoises that gave the archipelago its name. Many bird species are also endemic, meaning that they can only be found on the Galapagos Islands. We are all familiar with various species of finches or mockingbirds, thanks to the many projects we support.

Aux Galápagos, on trouve de nombreux animaux qui n'existent que sur cet archipel et qui sont synonymes des îles. Les plus connues sont certainement les tortues géantes, auxquelles l'archipel doit son nom. Mais de nombreuses espèces d'oiseaux sont également endémiques, c'est-à-dire qu'on ne les trouve que sur les Galápagos. Nous connaissons tous diverses espèces de pinsons ou de merles moqueurs grâce aux nombreux projets que nous soutenons.

Auf den Galápagos-Inseln findet man viele Tiere, die nur auf diesem Archipel vorkommen und als Synonym für die Inseln stehen. Am bekanntesten sind hier sicherlich die Riesenschildkröten, denen der Archipel auch seinen Namen verdankt. Aber auch viele Vogelarten sind hier endemisch, d. h. man findet sie nur auf den Galápagos-Inseln. Uns allen sind diverse Finkenarten oder die Spottdrosseln durch viele Projekte, die wir unterstützen, bekannt.
